To me, running for Precinct 4 Commissioner is the ultimate job interview. One that I’ve prepared for my entire life as an entrepreneur, husband, father, grandfather, and lifelong Midlander.
But for this role specifically, I'm someone who understands how to create and interpret budgets, and how to handle complex issues like water shortage, infrastructure, and simply knowing when to say, “no, yes, or not yet”.
Above politics, authentic relationships matter, and transparency and accountability are crucial.
The March 3 results are clear, and I believe the voters of Midland County are signaling that the Commissioners Court is ready for a change.
I intend to be that change and will provide the leadership that voters are asking for, the kind of leadership I’ve longed for.
There is no place like Midland. It’s our faith, perseverance, common sense and willingness to do hard things that make us great. As we prepare for our future, we must stick together to stand up for those values.
I’m so grateful to everyone who supported me on March 3 and welcome others to join me as we think boldly and wisely about the decisions that will come before the Commissioners Court. I’m excited to think about what’s possible and hope you are too.
I want to meet all of you and welcome you to join my campaign.
